Even the most successful family businesses will have challenges from time to time with employee engagement.

Disengaged employees will negatively impact productivity, customer satisfaction, employee retention, employee development and the overall long-term success of your business.

Impact of Employee Engagement

Foundation Stage

The sooner in your business journey you can embed sound employee engagement practices the better.

We will work with you collaboratively to:

  • Introduce and embed the key drivers of employee engagement

Formalising Stage

Once your business becomes more established, it’s vital to ensure that you maximise the employee engagement levels across all areas of your business.

We will work with you collaboratively to:

  • Leverage your values and culture to drive employee engagement and increase productivity and retention

  • Tackle pockets of disengaged employees

Expansion Stage

As family businesses expand it can become more challenging to keep on top of employee engagement.

We will work with you collaboratively to:

  • Tackle pockets of disengaged employees

  • Develop your leaders and managers to support employee engagement in times of expansion

Reinvention Stage

When business strategies change and potentially businesses begin to focus in a new direction, employee engagement can dip considerably.

We will work with you collaboratively to:

  • Ensure high levels of engagement during times of change

When it comes to your Employee Engagement whatever stage you find yourself in, you can be assured that we will work alongside you by living our values of:

CONNECTION

Especially when running small group workshops we work hard to build connection and gain trust so that your people feel comfortable enough to be open and honest and with us.

 COLLABORATION

Working with you, listening and creating the best solutions for you and your business and not imposing an ‘off the shelf’ solution.

 COMPASSION

Especially in times of growth and change, we work with compassion for you, for your people and for your family business heritage.

 ADDING VALUE

We will never undertake a project if we don’t feel we can add real tangible value to your business.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • In almost all cases, all client facing work is undertaken by me personally. The only exception to that could be very specific learning workshops which I may decide are better delivered by one of my colleagues.

  • That’s absolutely fine. I don’t want you to commit to anything until you are sure either. All projects begin with a no-obligation exploratory first meeting when we can get to know one another a bit better, explore your needs and decide whether we want to take it further.

  • Once we have fully explored your needs and we are both clear on what you want to achieve from any project we might work on together, you will receive a detailed proposal with full cost details. You can then decide whether you want to proceed or not and then we will enter into a formal agreement.

  • That’s absolutely fine. Some of my longest client relationships have started with a short initial audit of their current culture/values/situation etc. We can then decide from there whether we both think there is value in moving forward to a larger project.

  • Mainly yes. I have always been drawn to family businesses after I experienced personally first hand the difference that a strong family business culture can make to both the individuals working within the business and the external customer experience.
